E3 2017: Nintendo E3 Spotlight Recap, Switchin’ it Up
Nintendo wrapped up their own little presentation this morning with a few neat things to look forward to. They announced the coming of Pokken Tournament exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, as well as a new core Pokemon RPG game. No details on either of them yet, but keep an eye out for future Directs throughout the year. Nearly every game showing at E3 this week will be able for 2017.
Metroid Prime 4 is also coming to the Switch. We only get a logo reveal. No gameplay, so don’t expect a game to come out for the Switch this year. However, during the post-show stream, they did announce a Metroid game coming for the Nintendo 3DS, Metroid: Samus Returns.
Rocket League was also announced today. The game will also feature crossplay in which Switch players will be able to face-off against others gamers playing on different platforms.
For those rabbid Amiibo collectors, Nintendo also announced the release of the four Hyrule Champions from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Um…I need one of each right now, please!
