According to Comingsoon.net, Bill Skarsgard will be joining his second Stephen King adaptation. He has been cast in Hulu’s Castle Rock as a young man with a legal problem.
Skargard will be joining Andre Holland who’ll be portraying Henry, a death row attorney with a mysterious connection to Castle Rock. Jane Levy, Sissy Spacek, and Melanie Lynskey will also be starring in the series.
Castle Rock is part of Stephen King’s fictional Maine settings and provides the basic background for a number of his novels, novellas, and short stories. Castle Rock first appeared in King’s 1979 novel The Dead Zone, and has reappeared as late as his 2013 novel Doctor Sleep and 2014 novel Revival. Castle Rock is one of a couple of fictional Maine towns that King has developed for his works.
