Welcome to the Legion!

It looks like in 2019, we are going to have to treat ourselves during the holiday season. Deadline revealed the release date for the Wonder Woman sequel, which is much anticipated after the success of the Wonder Woman movie.

Wonder Woman 2 will be released on December 13, 2019. No director has been tapped for it yet, but I will frickin’ riot if Patty Jenkins is not snagged up. She did such an amazing job on the first one, so she has to be the one to do the next one. I don’t have passionate feelings about this at all. Nope. Not at all.

After hearing that the Wonder Woman sequel had not been mentioned in the DC panel at San Diego Comic Con, I was getting concerned that we wouldn’t hear about the project for another six months to a year. I am super happy that we now have a date to look forward to. So mark your calendars, folks!

If you think that this is too long to wait for Diana Prince to make an appearance in the DC Cinematic Universe, don’t despair. We will be getting plenty of her in the Justice League movie, which will be released in theaters on November 19, 2017.
