Marvel Entertainment and ABC have released a new preview that serves to stoke up much needed excitement for their upcoming collaborative series, Inhumans. Marvel and ABC have been struggling lately to properly promote the film after much backlash regarding what has been perceived as poor production value.

However, I do believe that this preview does serve its purpose, which is to get us to actually care about the series.

The footage and graphics are a lot better than the first round of promotional images, which was what I had predicted early on since there was a lot of talk about the difficulties with the CGI they would have to use for Medusa’s hair and Lockjaw. However, they revealed what could be a MASSIVE spoiler with Medusa in this preview, which could either work for or against ABC as they move further along with this show.

The official synopsis of the show is below:

“Marvel’s Inhumans” explores the never-before-told epic adventure of the royal family including Black Bolt, the enigmatic, commanding King of the Inhumans, with a voice so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city. After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where they are greeted with surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them. Now they must find a way to reunite with each other and return to their home before their way of life is destroyed forever.

Marvel’s Inhumans stars Anson Mount, Serinda Swan, Iwan Rheon, Eme Iwkuakor, Isabelle Cornish, Ken Leung, Sonya Balmores, Mike Moh, and Ellen Woglom.

The first two episodes will premiere in IMAX theatres on Sept 1, 2017. Those episodes will show globally for two weeks. The series is set to start Sept 29, 2017 on ABC.

Make sure you check out the preview below and let us know your thoughts.
