Superman Finally Joins the Justice League for the 2018 Calendar

Ever since marketing began for WB’s Justice League, one major character has been missing from every official group shot and teaser. That’s because he’s supposed to be dead, right? The most recent full-length trailer that released during San Diego Comic-Con teased the return of Superman. At the same event, Jason Mamoa (Aquaman) confirmed to a child that the Man of Steel definitely doesn’t stay dead. Then of course, we learn he’s coming back for sure when news broke that it’s going to take a ridiculous amount of money to digitally remove Henry Cavill’s facial hair. But where is Superman in all of the latest promo images? In a calendar, of course.

New Justice League promo shots have appeared on the internet via a 2018 calendar for the upcoming film. You can take a look at the images below!

About the film:

Fueled by the hero’s restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Justice League sees Bruce Wayne enlist the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Billy Crudup as Henry Allen, Amber Heard as Mera, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, with J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.

The super heroic action-flick is directed by Zack Snyder (and Joss Whedon), and the screenplay is by Chris Terrio from a story by Snyder and Terrio. It is produced by Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns. The executive producers are Jim Rowe, Wesley Coller, Curt Kanemoto, Chris Terrio and Ben Affleck.

Justice League will open in theaters on November 10, 2017.
