Stephen King’s IT

New Line Cinema has released a new IT featurette that focuses on how Stephen King defines evil and how we face the various faces of evil.

The film directed by Andrés Muschietti (Mama), is based on the hugely popular Stephen King novel of the same name, which has been terrifying readers for decades. Tim Curry’s iteration didn’t help by giving the Pennywise a physical form, thus solidifying itself in viewers’ minds minds for decades.

In Muschietti’s adaptation, children are beginning to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine at an alarming rate. A group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

The film stars Bill Skarsgård (Allegiant, Netflix’s Hemlock Grove) as the story’s central villain, Pennywise. The ensemble of young actors include Jaeden Lieberher (Midnight Special), Jeremy Ray Taylor (Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip), Sophia Lillis (37), Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things), Wyatt Oleff (Guardians of the Galaxy), Chosen Jacobs (Cops and Robbers), Jack Dylan Grazer (Tales of Halloween) and Nicholas Hamilton (Captain Fantastic).

IT is out in theaters now.. Please check out the featurette below and do let us know what you think.
