Paramount Pictures released a new clip today from Darren Aronofsky’s latest film mother! The clips features Javier Bardem’s mysterious character flipping out on his guests before getting a little bit bloody. four new TV Spots for Darren Aronofsky’s latest film mother!

So far in the marketing, Bardem’s character continues to be a mystery. We know he’s the husband to Lawrence’s character and that he has kept a lot of secrets from his wife, at least based off of what we’ve seen in marketing clips. This mystery is what will keep building up our curiosity to go see the film.

The official synopsis for the film is below:

mother! (which features both a lowercase”m” and an exclamation point as part of its official title) centers on a couple whose relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence.

More conclusive details about the film have been kept underwraps. It has been rumored that the film has been inspired by the horror film Rosemary’s Baby.

The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ed Harris, Domhnall Gleeson, and Brian Gleeson. The film was written and directed by Darren Aronofsky.
