Hulu – Marvel’s Runaways

Hulu has released the full length trailer of Marvel’s Runaways after debuting a teaser earlier this month at NYCC. In the first trailer for the series, we get another introduction to the team of teenage misfits, but we get more insight into what they are going to experience after the events that take place after their initial meet up.

One thing that I found the most surprising was finding out James Marsters (Spike from BtVS) has a fairly prominent role in the series. I had actually not known that he had signed on, so I’m now even more excited to see this series.

The Hulu adaptation is based off of the comic series of the same name created by Brian K. Vaughn and Adrian Alphona. This particular series has won an Eisner, a Harvey, and was featured as one of the Young Adult Library Services Association’s best books for young adults. Needless to say, fan expectations will be high for this adaptation.

The official synopsis for the series is below:

Every teenager thinks their parents are evil, what if they actually are? After discovering their parents are super-villains in disguise, a group of teenagers band together to run away from their homes in order to atone for their parents’ actions and to discover the secrets of their origins.

Marvel’s Runaways stars Ariela Barer as Gert Yokes, Lyrica Okano as Nico Minoru-tough, Rhenzy Feliz as Alex Wilder, Gregg Sulkin as Chase Stein, Virginia Gardner as Karolina Dean, and Allegra Acosta as Molly Hernandez.

Marvel’s Runaways will be released on Hulu on November 21, 2017. Make sure you check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.
