BBC America – Doctor Who

The First Doctor definitely has words regarding the new Tardis

Not much has been shared regarding the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas Special and, since we all know that it will be Capaldi’s last time as the infamous Doctor, we’ve all been dying to find out what will be happening. Today we get a little tidbit of what to expect between Capaldi’s Doctor and the First Doctor.

BBC America tweeted out a sneak peak of a scene from the Doctor Who Christmas Special and it becomes very apparent that the First Doctor has strong opinions about how the Tardis is decorated with his current incarnation. Then again, he’s not impressed with the face of the current incarnation of the Doctor either, which has been a bit of a run on joke since Capaldi took up the role.

We also get a brief glimpse of the plot surrounding Mark Gatiss’s role in the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas Special. He’s being pursued by a creature in the South Pole, which will most likely become the focus throughout the special as well as the Twelfth Doctor’s impending regeneration.

The Doctor Who Christmas Special will premiere on Christmas Day on BBC One and BBC America. As part of the BBC’s annual charity telethon for Children in Need, we highly encourage you to donate if you are interested in contributing to their fundraiser.
