Disney/Pixar released the final trailer for their upcoming animated film Coco. It shows us more of what is at stake for Miguel when he accidentally finds himself in the Land of the Dead, but also shows us more of the land of the living as they prepare and engage in the celebration of  Dia de los Muertos.

The official synopsis for the film is below:

Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (voice of newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself magically transported to the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (voice of Gael García Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.

Disney Pixar’s Coco is co-directed by Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 3) and by Adrian Molina (story artist for Monsters University) and produced by Darla K. Anderson (Toy Story 3).

The voice cast consists of Anthony Gonzalez, Gael Garcia Bernal, Benjamin Bratt, Edward James Olmos, Alanna Ubach, Selene Luna, Alfonso Arau, Herbert Siguenza, Octavio Solis, Gabriel Iglesias, Cheech Marin, and Blanca Aracelli.
