Darkness rises… and light to meet it. A new TV Spot was released last night during Game 7 of the World Series. There’s plenty to dissect and speculate about in this new TV Spot regarding Luke Skywalker, Kylo Ren, and Rey. I can already feel the hamster wheels in my head turning. What about you?

What to expect from Star Wars: The Last Jedi below:

Rey has heard plenty of stories about Luke Skywalker, the farm boy on Tatooine turned Jedi and hero of the Rebellion. One never quite knows what to expect after hearing such epic stories about a person. You have this ideal version of someone in your head based on the rose-colored tales others have told you. Then you mean the guy in the flesh and find something totally different. That seems to be Rey’s experience when she finally gets to meet Luke.

Rey finds the real Luke who is overpowered by regret; he’s eager to close the book on his past as he lives the rest of his days as a recluse.

I take that back. Luke isn’t entirely alone on that little island of his. There are Force-sensitive creatures inhabiting the Jedi temple alongside Skywalker. No, not the Porgs. Something else.

Elsewhere, Finn (John Boyega) has become a big deal in the Resistance. He embarks on a super cool mission to the casino city Canto Blight with Rose Tico (Kelly Marie Tran), a mechanic who works in the Resistance.

The film stars Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, John Boyega, the late Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro. Star Wars: The Last Jedi is written and directed by Rian Johnson.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is hitting theaters on December 15, 2017. Tickets are already on sale, so you might want to jump online now to grab them, since they’re probably going to sell out. Make sure you check out the TV Spot below.
