Ever since the unexpected trailer for Westworld Season 2 premiered at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, things have been rather silent on the news front in terms of the series. That is until now…
Yesterday a fan named @Mystasiaboss on Twitter asked Evan Rachel Wood, who plays Dolores on the show, if she could tell us when Westworld would be returning. Wood responded, “Spring 2018”. I’ve included the tweet below so you can fangasm about it. Despite the news delivered by Wood, we do not have an official premiere date from HBO. However, this gives us a rough timeline for when we should prepare ourselves.

The story of Westworld is based off of the film of the same name written by best-selling author Michael Crichton. Westworld offers a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin. Set at the intersection of the near future and the reimagined past, it explores a world in which every human appetite, no matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged.
The cast also includes Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, James Marsden, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Jimmi Simpson, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Ben Barnes, Simon Quarterman, Angela Sarafyan, Luke Hemsworth, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Clifton Collins, Jr.
