Batman: The Enemy Within

The trailer for the next episode of Batman: The Enemy Within promises to be an emotional ride.

Telltale Games has released the trailer for the latest episode of Batman: The Enemy Within, “What Ails You”. This is the fourth episode in an ongoing five-part episodic game series that continues Telltale’s unique take on the World’s Greatest Detective.

Looking through the trailer, it looks like the Crown Prince of Crime may finally earn his title in this episode. And while the Joker is running around and wrecking havoc, Bruce has a lot that he needs to repair after the events of the previous episode.

The official synopsis of the episode is below:

“When the Pact puts its plan into motion, Bruce’s cover is finally blown, and as his web of lies unravels, new questions emerge: When and how will the Pact regroup? What’s truly motivating Amanda Waller and the Agency? And perhaps most importantly, how will John Doe handle the truth about his buddy Bruce? With another showdown brewing, the clown prince of crime may finally earn his crown…”

As par for the course, this new episode allows players to carry over their choices from previous episodes as well as previous seasons. Troy Barker reprises his role as the Dark Knight alongside Anthony Ingruber as John Doe. This title also includes the Crowd Play feature allowing multiple people to decide on the course of the story together.

This new episode launches January 23rd on Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC, Mac, and mobile platforms.
