New Jessica Jones trailer focuses on the past and moving forward.
Today Netflix released a new franchise-specific trailer for the long-awaited sequel to the 2015 MCU smash hit Jessica Jones. In the trailer, we get flashbacks of events that took place during the first season. This helps to fill in the audience who might be watching this for the first time or need a little pick-me-up reminder.
It also helps build on the synopsis of the second season, which focuses on Jessica putting her life together and seeking answers to her past.
The official synopsis for the new season is below:
New York City private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave. Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.
Krysten Ritter reprises her role as Jessica. Alongside her includes Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Carrie-Ann Moss (Jeri Hogarth), Eka Danville (Malcolm Ducasse), and new cast members Janet McTeer and JR Ramirez.
