Rampage

New Rampage trailer leaves much to be desired.

Yesterday Warner Bros. released a full trailer for their upcoming video game adaptation of the ’80s game Rampage. Check out the trailer below.

The film doesn’t look very notable when it comes to story. This film is based on the 1986 video game of the same name. The game lacked story and simply featured giant monsters fighting each other and destroying the city. However, it seems like an exciting summer blockbuster to attend with friends. The film also seems similar to King Kong, which is interesting..

The official synopsis for the film is below:

Primatologist Davis Okoye (Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth.  But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry mutates this gentle ape into a raging creature of enormous size.  To make matters worse, it¹s soon discovered there are other similarly altered animals.  As these newly created alpha predators tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.

Rampage stars Dwayne Johnson and also features several other huge actors including Naomie Harris, Malin Akerman, Jake Lacy, Joe Manganiello, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The film is directed by Brad Peyton.

Rampage will be released in theaters April 20th, 2018. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
