Deadpool says F*ck Cancer

Deadpool says F*ck Cancer while embracing his pink self

Last night during the FX premiere of the original Deadpool film, 20th Century Fox (via Deadpool) announced a new pink-filled partnership with the fundraising platform Omaze in support of F*ck Cancer, a non-profit organization dedicated to cancer prevention, funding research for early detection, and providing resources and support to those affected by cancer.

For those who watched the original Deadpool film will know the merc’s past with terminal cancer.  So, of course, this cause is near and dear to his heart.

All proceeds will benefit F*ck Cancer. Each donation provides a chance for fans to receive an exclusive, custom-made pink Deadpool suit. Fans can enter at Omaze to win for just $10. That’s roughly the price of two Starbucks coffees.

The official shenanigans-filled synopsis for the film is below:

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.

Ryan Reynolds is back in the role of the disfigured merc with a mouth. Josh Brolin and Zazie Beetz join him, playing Cable and Domino respectfully. Jack Kesy will be playing an undisclosed villain in the film. Shioli Kutsuna and Julian Dennison will be playing undisclosed roles.

Deadpool 2 will be released in theaters on May 17, 2018.
