Check out the new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III and take a look at the upcoming mini-games

If you are both a Disney fan and a video game player, you’re likely looking forward to Kingdom Hearts III as much as I am. This weekend, a trailer for the game was released at the Union X Dandelion meeting and was posted on the Kingdom Hearts YouTube channel. It reminds me of the classic mini-games in Mario Odyssey. The mini-games are inspired, as the post on YouTube says, by “classic Disney cartoons and 1980’s LCD games that will be available to play in Kingdom Hearts III.” The game is “story of Light overcoming Darkness with the power of Friendship.”

How badly are you missing Sora, the Keyblade wielder? What about Donald and Goofy? There is, of course, no release date for the game yet. After the teases at Disney’s D23 Expo last year, there were rumors about it coming out late this fall, with a date of November 1 being bandied around by fans. There is no confirmation for this currently, but here’s hoping. Kingdom Hearts III will hit stores sometime soonish (fingers crossed) for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

We want to hear from you! Is there anything in this trailer that might indicate a setting to you guys? We know we’re going to see some Toy Story@LegionofLeia in there (as we learned at D23), but are there any other clues that make you think we’ll see another world in here? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below or tweet us .
