Try not to cry during new Christopher Robin trailer

Today The Walt Disney Studios released a brand new trailer for the upcoming movie Disney’s Christopher Robin. Make sure you check it out below.

Not going to lie, I teared up while watching this. Maybe it’s because I’m at a similar crossroads in my life where work has pretty much taken over, but I can’t help but feel for Christopher Robin as he struggles to deal with the responsibilities of adulthood while neglecting the people he loves. Does anyone else feel similarly?

The official synopsis for the movie is below:

In the heartwarming live-action adventure Disney’s Christopher Robin, the young boy who loved embarking on adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with a band of spirited and lovable stuff animals, has grown up and lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin remember the loving and playful boy who is still inside.

Ewan McGregor stars in the movie as the adult Christopher Robin. He’s joined by Hayley Atwellas his wife Evelyn, Bronte Carmichael as his daughter Madelin, and Mark Gatiss as Keith Winslow, Robin’s boss. Voicing the characters from the hundred acre wood include Jim Cummings as Winnie the Pooh, Chris O’Dowd as Tigger, Brad Garrett as Eeyore, Toby Jones as Owl, Nick Mohammed as Piglet, Peter Capaldi as Rabbit, and Sophie Okonedo as Kanga.

Disney’s Christopher Robin is directed by Marc Forster. The screenplay was written by Alex Ross Perry and Allison Schroeder. The characters were created by A.A. Milne.

The producers are Brigham Taylor and Kristin Burr with Renée Wolfe and Jeremy Johns serving as executive producers.
