Legion of Leia Podcast S2, Ep. 16: Regina Melzer and The Clash Of Ms. Ampersand Dottington’s Dubious DNA

On this week’s Legion of Leia podcast, season 2, episode 16, myself and my co-host Anastasia Washington welcome actress Regina Melzer! Regina is a filmmaker, actress, writer and music composer and she has a dark comedy musical coming out for the AT&T create-a-thon. (Anastasia did one as well!) Regina is a total riot (we threw virtual glitter when saying her name), and she’s got some great info on making your own projects. Give it a listen and make sure to subscribe!

Check out the synopsis for Regina’s film: The Clash Of Ms. Ampersand Dottington’s Dubious DNA is a dark comedy musical about a young woman stemming from an evil dynasty, the Dottington family, and finding her purpose in the world they have groomed her for. All family members must get a DNA test done in true adulthood with the family doctor to make sure their genes are 100% pure evil as well as choose an evil career path. After Ampersand Dottington’s DNA test shows traces of good in her genes, she attempts to strengthen her evil genes with her chosen career path of serial killer. Unfortunately, for Ampersand her instincts make her more of an accidental vigilante than serial killer and she is possibly at risk of being found out by her family who never make exceptions for their evil-dynasty-purity-laws and surely would make her face consequences such as throwing her into exile, locking her up in an insane asylum or even snuffing her existence out altogether.
There is no link to the film quite yet, but Regina will be posting updates on her Instagram, which is @theactoress! May the Force be with you!
