Welcome to the Legion!

Amazon’s Lore

Today during the Amazon Prime presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, we got the chance to see the Season 2 trailer of Lore, the supernatural show adapted from the amazing, award-winning podcast of the same name. Make sure you check out the trailer below!

This show has a special place in my heart because it is what helped me discover Aaron Mahnke’s Lore podcast. As a lover of all things supernatural and historic, Based off of the trailer teaser you’ll watch below, I have an idea of which stories will be focused on based off of what I recall from the podcast. If you like spooky things that will make you question life and humanity, definitely check out both the podcast and the TV series.

The official synopsis is below:

Lore explores the real-life frightening and disturbing tales that give rise to modern-day myths and legends. Season two will feature new tales from the podcast, as well as original stories not yet available in podcast form, and will star new cast members. The hybrid series will continue to feature narration, archive footage, and animation to complement the filmed segments.

The podcast launched in March of 2015 by Aaron Mahnke. It is arguably one of the most popular podcasts out there and was labeled the best by Apple in 2015 and 2016.

If podcasts aren’t your speed or if you process information better visually versus through auditory like myself, Aaron Mahnke has a three-book “The World of Lore” series. I can assure you that the first book titled Monstrous Creatures pulls almost verbatim from the podcast if you do have difficulties processing auditory.

Lore will start streaming season 2 on Amazon Prime starting October 19th.
