SDCC: NECA Previews Golden Girls, Karate Kid Action Figures

Day One of SDCC is in the books, but not without some very special action figure reveals from NECA, a toy company known for its life-like renditions of famous pop culture characters.  First up is an impressive wave of Golden Girls action figures.

Blanche may have been “the only person who mixed a margarita in a sailor’s mouth,” but now everyone can recreate the scene (sailor not included), or, y’know, any of the other delightfully scandalous quips from the show’s long run.

It’s suggested that the final box art will incorporate the iconic look of the Golden Girls DVD box sets.  Further stoking the fires of our nostalgia is NECA’s planned line of Karate Kid action figures.

With Cobra Kai fresh on all our minds, toys based on the film that started it all are eagerly anticipated.  Rounding out NECA’s incoming blasts from the past is a Gremlins Ultimate Stripe action figure.

Well accessorized and screen-accurate, this figure will be a great addition to NECA’s already lengthy line of Gremlins toys.  Given the classic licenses NECA is producing toys for, the question isn’t so much, “Which one will you buy?” but “Which one will you buy first?”
