SDCC: Get a sneak peak into Amazon’s Good Omens
Today during the Amazon Comic-Con panel, they revealed a first look video for the upcoming first season of Good Omens. In the video, you get to see how they bring the sketch concepts to life onscreen. You also get to see behind-the-scenes footage from the set, especially of the explosion kind. Good Omens is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Gaimain is also a showrunner on the mini-series.
Michael Sheen and David Tennant star as Aziraphale and Crowley. The remaining cast of Good Omens consists of Jon Hamm, Jack Whitehall, Michael McKean, Adria Arjona, Nina Sosanya, Ned Dennehy, Ariyon Bakare, Mark Gatiss, Derek Jacobi, Nick Offerman, and Miranda Richardson. Joining the cast, as was confirmed at the panel today, is Frances McDormand. She will be the voice of God.
The six-part mini-series adaptation will be set to launch on Amazon Prime in 2019. No specific dates have been set as of yet because they show is still currently in production.
