J.J. Abrams posts the first on-set pic from Star Wars: Episode IX
Director J.J. Abrams has posted the first pic from the set of Star Wars: Episode IX, with a lovely tribute to Carrie Fisher. It’s hard to see, but it shows Finn (John Boyega) and the camera which has VII IX on it. (Abrams also directed the seventh film Star Wars: The Force Awakens). You can check out his tweet and the pic below.
Bittersweet starting this next chapter without Carrie, but thanks to an extraordinary cast and crew, we are ready to go. Grateful for @rianjohnson and special thanks to George Lucas for creating this incredible world and beginning a story of which we are lucky to be a part. #IX pic.twitter.com/FOfnGwVut5
