Welcome to the Legion!

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout trailer is here and beta testing is ready to go

Call of Duty fans rejoice! The all new trailer for Call of Duty’s Black Ops 4 Blackout: Battle Royale is here and beta testing is already underway.

Starting today, players on the Playstation 4 will  get their first hands-on experience with Blackout in the Blackout Private Beta in preparation for the October 12 release. Later this week, testing will open to Xbox and PC players as well. The Private Beta will provide valuable user feedback and data as  Activision and developer Treyarch get ready to launch what they’re calling the “deepest, most engaging Call of Duty game ever.”

The newest addition to the Black Ops universe promises extensive gameplay that features fan-favorite characters, weapons and iconic parts of classic maps, all in the largest map in franchise history complete with land, sea and air vehicles.

Players will also have a chance to choose between 80-player match-ups either in solo mode, as a duo, or in four-player fireteams. The trailer shows players a glimpse of what Blackout will have to offer and it seems like a great new take on Call of Duty, especially given the Fortnite hype as of late. Fan reaction on social media have been positive and it seems like everyone is excited to spend the next several days testing out Blackout.

You can check out the trailer below and see what you think. I’m not even a Call of Duty fan, but this trailer is getting me hyped to see what’s in store for the game franchise’s future.
