The new costume for Captain Marvel has been revealed

A new costume has been revealed for for Captain Marvel!

EW has posted their new magazine cover, which reveals the costume for the upcoming superhero prequel Captain Marvel. As you may recall, she was teased in the after-credits scene in Avengers: Infinity War when a disappearing Nick Cage (Samuel L. Jackson) paged her with his space pager. (That is maybe the best sentence I’ve written all week.) The film is set in the 1990s and stars Brie Larson. You can check out the tweet from EW below!

Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson (RoomShort Term 12) as the titular superhero. Other cast members include Samuel L. Jackson (The Avengers, Pulp Fiction), Ben Mendelsohn (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, The Dark Knight Rises), Gemma Chan (Crazy Rich Asians, Humans), Lashana Lynch (Bullet-Proof, Still Star-Crossed), Djimon Hounsou (Guardians of the Galaxy, Blood Diamond), Lee Pace (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Fall), Algenis Pérez Soto (Super, Samba), Rune Temte (The Last Kingdom, Eddie the Eagle), McKenna Grace (Gifted, I, Tonya), Clark Gregg (The Avengers, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Jude Law (The Talented Mr. Ripley, The Grand Budapest Hotel), Annette Bening (American Beauty, The Kids Are Alright). The film will take place in the 1990s with the Skrulls as the villains. Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck will direct the film, which will hit theaters on March 8, 2019. The script was written by Geneva Robertson-Dworet with previous versions written by Meg LeFauve and Nicole Perlman.

Are you guys excited for Captain Marvel? What do you think of the costume? We want to hear from you! Let us know your thoughts in the comments or tweet us @LegionofLeia.
