DreamWorksTV has just released a brand new teaser trailer for their upcoming animated series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power! You can check it out below. As 1980s children will remember, the original She-Ra cartoon She-Ra: Princess of Power was a spinoff of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. It began in 1985 and was canceled in 1986 after two seasons. Though it was a short run, fans like myself have never stopped loving it. (In fact, we bring it up constantly on the Leigon of Leia podcast as my co-host Anastasia Washington is an even bigger fan than I am!) The new show has a reworking of the visuals, which caused controversy as a number of people were concerned that she wasn’t sexy enough. Go ahead and look up the stupid tweets. I’m not giving them a platform here.

Here is the official info for the new series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power: Join the fun on DreamWorksTV where you can find an endless supply of laugh-out-loud jokes, lovable characters, life hacks, music, magic, gaming and more!
