Wilson Fisk explains his return in a new teaser for Marvel’s Daredevil

Netflix has just released a brand new trailer for Season 3 of Marvel’s Daredevil. This comes two days after the first teaser featuring Wilson Fisk, played by Vincent D’Onofrio (Full Metal JacketJurassic World). Fisk was the best part of the first season of the show, and just hearing his voice and seeing him in the comic book suit is giving me chills. When I say “best part,” I mean, it was the performance of a lifetime. I’m thrilled to see him back and the teaser made me desperately wish for October 19 when the show returns to the streaming service.

Season 2 of Marvel’s Daredevil starred Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle), Elodie Yung (Elektra), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), and Scott Glenn (Stick).

Audiences everywhere got a glimpse of where Matthew Murdock was heading two weeks ago with the release of Iron Fist Season 2. At the end of the finale, viewers got a brief clip of Murdock in a confessional. We could see the dark cloud hanging over him and were left wondering what exactly he had endured since the conclusion of The Defenders. If it’s possible, it appears that Season 3 is going to be a lot darker, from the Murdock promos where he’s covered in blood and shedding his normal guy side, and the voiceover in this promo.

The third season of Marvel’s Daredevil is set to premiere  exclusively on Netflix October 19, 2018. What do you think of the video? Tweet your thoughts to us at @LegionofLeia and let us know what you think.
