The Chilling Adventures with Sabrina trailer is full of spoopy fun

Netflix has released the first official full-length trailer for the upcoming Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and we finally get a full idea of what to expect going into this adaptation of the dark comic book series many of us have come to love.

Throughout the course of the trailer, we get to see a young Sabrina approaching her sixteenth birthday where she will be forced to make a choice. She will either have to choose to completely embrace her witchy side or she will have to cast out her magic and be forced to live as a mortal forever. This is all due to the fact that she is a “half-breed” as was so bluntly stated at some point in the trailer by the Twisted Sister.

Make sure you check it out in the player below and let us know your thoughts.

The official synopsis of the show is below:

The new project reimagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and, of course, witchcraft. Tonally in the vein of Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist, this adaptation finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature — half-witch, half-mortal — while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit.

Kiernan Shipka stars as Sabrina in the Chilling Adventures with Sabrina. The cast joining her consists of Lucy Davis, Miranda Otto, Chance Perdomo, Michelle Gomez, Chance Perdomo, Jaz Sinclair, Richard Coyle, Tati Gabrielle, Ross Lynch, and Bronson Pinchot.

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is writing the script for the series. He originally wrote the comic books that the Netflix series is pulling from. He will also executive produce. Lee Toland Krieger will direct and executive produce with Aguirre-Sacasa, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Jon Goldwater.

The series will premiere on Netflix on October 26.  What do you think of the official trailer? Let us know in the comments below or tweet us at @LegionofLeia.
