Tom Holland visits Jimmy Kimmel Live! to debut the new Spider-Man suit
Tom Holland (The Impossible, Captain America: Civil War) made a little visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night while the show is filming in Brooklyn. First, we got a look at Guillermo running around with a Spider-Man mask shouting, “Pew pew pew!” (You will be saying this over and over again all day.) Then out comes a man in a Spidey suit and a cone on his head. Turns out, it’s everyone’s favorite web-slinger Tom Holland, wearing the brand new suit from the upcoming Disney/Marvelf film Spider-Man: Far From Home.
The new film Spider-Man: Far From Home is directed by Jon Watts (Spider-Man: Homecoming). Tom Holland, will, of course, return as Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man. The cast also includes Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Angourie Rice, Tony Revolori, Marisa Tomei, Jake Gyllenhaal, Numan Acar, J.B. Smooth, Remy Hii, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders. The script for Spider-Man: Far From Home comes to us from Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna. Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal will produce.
When we last saw Peter Parker, he was begging Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) to keep him from turning into dust during Avengers: Infinity War. There is no telling what will happen when the next film happens, but it’s clear that we’re going to see our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man again.
If you haven’t seen Tom Holland in anything outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, might I suggest you watch the mini-series Wolf Hall? It’s about Thomas Cromwell, Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. It’s also got Mark Rylance, Damian Lewis and Claire Foy. Just trust me on this one.
