Watch the new teaser trailer for Aladdin with our first look at Mena Massoud
Today Disney tweeted out a brand new teaser trailer for the upcoming live-action remake of the classic Disney animated film Aladdin. You can check out the teaser trailer below, with our first look at Mena Massoud as the title character.
Aladdin is directed by Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) and written by John August (Dark Shadows, Big Fish). The film is based on the 1992 animated film which starred the voice of the late Robin Williams as Genie. (There was actually a tribute that involved a genie in the online game World of Warcraft after Williams’ death, as he was a huge fan of the game.) Eight-time Academy Award-winnerAlan Menken (Beauty and the Beast) composed the score.
Disney has been doing a lot of live-action remakes like b starring Emma Watson and Maleficent, a different version of the story of Sleeping Beauty. There was a CGI version of The Jungle Book and an upcoming version of The Lion King, though calling them live-action is a tiny bit problematic. They certainly look it, but they use quite a bit of very cool tech to do so. We also have a live-action version of Mulan on the way.

This is the sequel that we were hoping to see from disney for years. Aladin and lion king’s non animated version of the movie which made us wait for all these years. The flying carpet, genie and many other imaginary stuffs that were real in aladin to appear infront of us on the big screen. They can make it even better by introducing a 3d version of it in theaters.https://www.essaychamp.co.uk/
