She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is now streaming!

DreamWorksTV and Netflix have revealed that their upcoming animated series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is now available for streaming on the service. I am so hyped and can’t wait to watch the first episode after work. Are you excited too?

As many kids remembered growing up in the 1980s and early 1990s, the original She-Ra cartoon She-Ra: Princess of Power was a spinoff of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. It began in 1985 and was canceled in 1986 after two seasons. It’s good to see the heroine back for an all-new generation.

The official synopsis for the show is below:

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is the story of an orphan named Adora (Carrero), who leaves behind her former life in the evil Horde when she discovers a magic sword that transforms her into the mythical warrior princess She-Ra. Along the way, she finds a new family in the Rebellion as she unites a group of magical princesses in the ultimate fight against evil.

The series is now available for streaming on Netflix. Are you excited to see this new modern take on the classic ’80s heroine? Let us know in the comments or tweet us at @LegionofLeia.
