Chloe the cat wakes her human up in the worst way in the new character trailer for The Secret Life of Pets 2

Do you have cats? If you do, then you will appreciate this new character trailer for The Secret Life of Pets 2 so much. I have three. I’ve been woken up like this. I’m still not 100 percent convinced that this isn’t part of their plan to take over the world. The Chloe trailer is the first of a series of character posters for the upcoming film. The Secret Life of Pets 2 will hit theaters on June 7, 2019. You can check out the Chloe trailer for the film below.

The Secret Life of Pets 2 will follow summer 2016’s blockbuster about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day. Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and his longtime collaborator Janet Healy will produce the sequel to the comedy that had the best opening ever for an original film, animated or otherwise. The Secret Life of Pets 2 will see the return of writer Brian Lynch (Minions) and once again be directed by Chris Renaud (Despicable Me series, Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax).

The cast for The Secret Life of Pets 2 includes Lake Bell, Hannibal Buress, Dana Carvey, Harrison Ford, Tiffany Haddish, Kevin Hart, Pete Holmes, Garth Jennings, Ellie Kemper, Nick Kroll, Bobby Moynihan, Patton Oswald, Jenny Slate and Eric Stonestreet. The film is co-directed by Jonathan Del Val and was written by Brian Lunch. It was produced by Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy.
