Trailer: Meet the Missing Link

Ever wanted to know more about creatures like Big Foot? Because we are now getting a rather cute stop-motion animated film about a Big Foot creature brought to us by LAIKA.

Annapurna Pictures has released the first trailer from the upcoming Big Foot inspired film titled Missing Link. It follows the tale of Mr. Link, which is a play on words that the trailer itself makes fun of early on. I don’t want to spoil anything for you guys, so make sure you take a look at the trailer below.

The official synopsis for the film is below:

Meet Mr. Link: 8 feet tall, 630 lbs, and covered in fur, but don’t let his appearance fool you… he is funny, sweet, and adorably literal, making him the world’s most lovable legend. Tired of living a solitary life in the Pacific Northwest, Mr. Link recruits fearless explorer Sir Lionel Frost to guide him on a journey to find his long-lost relatives in the fabled valley of Shangri-La. Along with adventurer Adelina Fortnight, our fearless trio of explorers encounter more than their fair share of peril as they travel to the far reaches of the world to help their new friend.

The voice cast of the film consists of Hugh Jackman, Zoe Saldana, Zach Galifianakis, Timothy Olyphant, Emma Thompson, Stephen Fry, Matt Lucas, Amrita Acharia, and David Walliams.

Missing Link was written and directed by Chris Butler.  Travis Knight and Arianne Sutner produced the film. Missing Link will debut in theaters on April 12, 2019.
