Welcome to the Legion!

I’m not crying. You’re crying! The new ‘Share the Force’ Star Wars ad from Target just, um, triggered my allergies. Our buddy Claudia Dolph over at Geek Girl Authority just posted this and I had to share it with you guys. The ad talks about the thing generations have in common; the Force. I know this will date me, but I remember trying to get Princess Leia‘s little plastic coat on her, putting my hair up in donuts, playing as Han Solo and getting my very first spoiler on the playground when I learned that Luke Skywalker was the son of Darth Vader.

One of the reasons I started this site to begin with was because my sister posted a picture of me on Halloween dressed as a certain Princess and talking to my friend about how many of us there are with the same picture. Just watch. It’s going to punch you in the gut – in a good way – and I think we all need that today.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will hit theaters on December 18.
