The highly anticipated Netflix Original Series, Marvel’s Jessica Jones finally has a trailer!
All the teasers have been leading up to this:

Seeing Ritter in action was amazing, she nailed Jessica Jones’ acerbic wit and tough exterior with glimpses of the broken person beneath the surface. It was so exciting to see more of the magnetic dynamic between Jones and Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and the development of their relationship and team up leading up to Marvel’s Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders with Daredevil. It was also cool to see Carrie-Anne Moss and Rachel Taylor be a part of this ensemble of fierce women.
Finally getting a glimpse of just how treacherous David Tennant’s Kilgrave (Purple Man) can be and his introduction as the manipulative powered villain fills this trailer with intrigue. The police station made it in!! For comic readers, the clip of the father and daughter being caught in his sights is more stomach churning than mildly scary. Know this, we don’t even want to image the despicable things he could be capable of.
What happens when the nightmare that took Jessica out of the superhero world returns, threatening to shatter her newly formed career as a private investigator and the world around her? ‘God didn’t do this, the Devil did‘, what did Jessica (Krysten Ritter) mean? Might have Daredevil inadvertently had something to do with the release of Kilgrave?
We’ll find out when the 13 episode series showrun by Melissa Rosenberg (Dexter) and based on the Brian Michael Bendis comics is binge watched!
